Please note the following instructions

If not already in use, for additional  
protection it is recommended to  
install a residual current- operated  
protective device (RCD) with a  
rated residual operating current  
not exceeding 30 mA in the elec-  
trical circuit of your bathroom. Ask  
your plumber for advice.

The appliance is designed for do-  
mestic use only.

Never use the appliance in the  
bath, shower or over a wash  
basin filled with water; nor should  
it be operated with wet hands.

Never cover the appliance, for  
example with a towel.  
The appliance can become very  
hot. Never leave your hair be-  
tween the ceramic plates for more  
than a few seconds.

Do not immerse the appliance in  
water or let it come into contact  
with water, even during cleaning.

The outer surface of the appliance  
may get hot in long time usages,  
in this case do not touch with your  
hands and allow it to cool.

If the appliance is used in the bath-  
room, it is essential that the power  
plug is pulled out after use, as any  
water close to the appliance can  
still pose a hazard, even if the ap-  
pliance is switched off.

Do not allow the hot styling plates  
to come into contact with your  
face, neck or head.  
Pull out the power plug after use.  
Do not disconnect the plug by  
pulling on the cord. Place the ap-  
pliance on a heat resistant surface  
and allow it to cool.

Check if the mains voltage on the  
type plate (on the handle of the  
appliance) corresponds to your  
local mains supply. The only way  
to disconnect the appliance from  
the mains is to pull out the plug.

Never use the appliance if it or the  
power cord is visibly damaged.

Straightening hair  
Using your hair styler, you can:  
1 Switch the hair styler on using the

heat up and be ready for use  
within seconds.

Shape the ends (inwards and  
outwards)

Style soft-cascading waves and  
curls  
2 Separate a section of hair ap-  
proximately 5 cm in width and  
smooth it out with a brush. Start  
with the neck.

near to the hair line as you can,  
and close the plates. Take care  
not to touch the hot plates.

Plug appliance into a suitable  
mains supply. The hair styler is  
ready for use.  
4 Hold the hair styler in place until  
the hair is fully heated. This will be  
almost instant. When holding the  
hair styler always ensure fingertips  
are placed away from the hot  
plates.

Always place hair styler on a  
solid, flat, heat resistant surface.  
Do not place hair styler on any  
soft or uneven surfaces such as  
carpets, bedding or rugs. Never  
cover the unit. The plates heat  
up to a high temperature quickly  
(200°C).  
5 Once the hair is heated, holding  
the hair taut, carefully slide the  
plates along the section of hair, in  
one smooth movement all the way  
down to the ends.

have to repeat this process on the  
same section several times.
